EDRYNE JETH F. JUNTILLA-CATACUTAN

Atty. Edryne Jeth “EJ” F. Juntilla – Catacutan, is a litigation and corporate lawyer of Carpo Law & Associates. She has been a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines since 2016.

Prior to joining Carpo Law & Associates, EJ worked as a Junior Lawyer for Radiowealth Finance Company (RFC), where she handled several civil, criminal, and labor cases in various courts within and outside of Metro Manila. Besides attending court hearings for the company, EJ also assisted in handling other legal concerns of the business operation, reviewed contracts and service agreements, conducted seminars, and provided legal advice to the company’s branches nationwide.

In 2017, she was also appointed as Data Protection Officer and she participated in data privacy conferences and trainings led by the National Privacy Commission to ensure company’s data privacy compliance.

In January 2020, she joined BDO Unibank under secondment to one of its wholly owned subsidiaries, BDO Insurance Brokers, Inc., where she held the position of Compliance and Data Protection Officer. While working in BDO, she gained extensive knowledge in corporate governance, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, insurance regulations and issuances of the Insurance Commission and other regulatory bodies i.e. Anti-Money Laundering Council, National Privacy Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce Major in Legal Management from Far Eastern University Manila and a Juris Doctor degree from University of Batangas – Lipa City.
