Role Description:
We are seeking a Senior Litigation Associate to join our team at Carpo Law & Associates. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing complex litigation cases, from initial research to courtroom representation. Your responsibilities will include drafting and filing motions, preparing for and attending depositions, conducting thorough legal research, and advocating for clients in court.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and file motions and other legal documents
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
- Represent clients in court, providing effective advocacy
- Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in handling complex litigation cases
- Strong background in legal research, motion drafting, and deposition preparation
- Extensive courtroom experience and familiarity with legal proceedings
- Deep understanding of local laws and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership
- Experience in corporate or tax law is a plus
