FRANCHESKA JOANNE Q. CRUZ-AM

Atty. Francheska Joanne “Cheska” Q. Cruz-Am is a corporate and litigation lawyer of Carpo Law & Associates. She has been a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines since 2022.

Prior to joining the Firm, Cheska gained substantial litigation experience as a Junior Associate at Palafox and Romero Law Firm, where she handled civil, criminal, and labor cases. She regularly represented clients before the Municipal Trial Courts, Regional Trial Courts, and the Sandiganbayan. In addition to her litigation background, she was seconded to a multinational company in the oil and gas industry, where she was involved in contract review, risk assessment, and provided legal advice on commercial and operational concerns.

In 2024, she joined Robinsons Hotels and Resorts, the hospitality arm of Robinsons Land Corporation, as Legal Counsel. She provided legal services to over thirty (30) properties across the Philippines, including support for affiliated international brands. Her work included contract review and the handling of labor and other legal matters, in coordination with the company’s external counsels. She also handled the company’s Data Privacy and Intellectual Property concerns.

She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Agustin and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the Philippines – Visayas, where she graduated cum laude.
