Duterte signed Republic Act No. 11314, otherwise known as the “Student Fare Discount Law” on April 17, a law that seeks to institutionalize the mandatory 20% student fare discount to cover all forms of public transportation on land, air, water, and rail all year round, including weekends and holidays.
