Atty. Diana Jean “Ajean” M. Tuazon-Cruz is a Corporate, Litigation, and Property Lawyer who has been a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines since 2016.

Before joining Carpo Law and Associates, Ajean was an Associate Lawyer at Estrada and Aquino Law. She handled most of the firm’s individual and corporate clients’ general legal concerns and compliance requirements from pertinent rules and regulations issued by government agencies including but not limited to the National Privacy Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Department of Education, Commission of Higher Education, Home Mutual Development Fund (Pag-ibig Fund), Social Security System, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Register of Deeds, etc.

She also represented the firm’s clients before the Housing Land Use and Regulatory Board, National Labor Relations Commission, Prosecutor’s Offices, Trial Courts (Municipal, Metropolitan, and Regional Trial Court), Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan and Supreme Court.

While pursuing her law degree, Ajean worked as a Legal Assistant for PHINMA Property Holdings Corporation where she was exposed to different property laws including but not limited to the Condominium Act, Maceda Law, Contractor’s License Law, etc. During her five-year tenure in the company, she made significant contributions on the annual renewal of the company’s Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) and ARC Licenses, registration of the company’s trademarks before the Intellectual Property Office, the incorporation of the condominium corporations for the condominium projects developed by the company, the preparation of bidding documents to be submitted to the National Housing Authority for government projects, and the formation and incorporation of one of the company’s subsidiaries.

Before enrolling in law school, Ajean worked as a staff member for Senator Loren Legarda. She helped the Senator implement projects for Libro ni Loren Foundation and Luntiang Pilipinas and made some valuable works on the research and crafting of some of the bills and laws that the Senator authored. Moreover, she aided in the maintenance of the Senator’s official website.

Ajean was also a Data and Document Processing Analyst for Mitchell and Madison Group, where, through the tools and venues for learning presented by said company, she was able to hone her skills in data gathering and analysis.

Ajean graduated with a BS Economics degree, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines – Diliman in 2007. She held various positions in the UP Economics Society, UP Student Catholic Action, and UP Sandiwa. She obtained her law degree from San Beda College of Law – Mendiola in 2015. While pursuing her law degree, she served as Chairperson for the Electronic Data Processing Committee of the San Beda Centralized Bar Operations.
