Business Breakfast: Doing Business in the Philippines
Atty. Sheryll Joy Calayan-Medina of Kittelson & Carpo Consulting, together with Atty. Ma. Monina Velasco, Associate Lawyer of Carpo Law & Associates, delivered a talk in the Business Breakfast held last March 22 at W Fifth Building in BGC, Taguig. The event was hosted by the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines, in partnership with Kittelson & Carpo Consulting.
Atty. Calayan-Medina discussed how the new issuances of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) will affect the current business landscape in the Philippines, while Atty. Velasco tackled the implementation of TRAIN Law and its projections on how it will direct positive changes in the country’s present state of affairs.
