FIFA Annual Membership Meeting 2019
Atty. Rhondee Dumlao, Senior Associate, and Atty. Ma. Monina Velasco, Associate of Carpo Law & Associates, participated as notable speakers in the 2-day FIFA Annual Membership Meeting 2019 held last March 6-7 at FIFA Center, Minnesota Mansion, Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines. The event was hosted by the Filipino International Franchise Association (FIFA), in partnership with Carpo Law & Associates.
Atty. Dumlao discussed the salient features of the two new tax laws in the Philippines, the TRAIN Law (Package 1) and the Tax Amnesty Act. Atty. Velasco, on the other hand, provided timely updates on how the new tax laws will affect doing business in the Philippines for local and foreign companies, especially those that want to establish franchise businesses or expand operations in the country.
