Senate Data Privacy Forum 2018 (Part 2: Implementing the Data Privacy Act)

The Senate filed a bill proposing to extend the capacity of government financial institutions (GFIs) to provide and grant loans to enterprises affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Atty. Rhondee Dumlao, Senior Associate Lawyer of Carpo Law & Associates, delivered a talk on TRABAHO Bill, otherwise known as House Bill 8083 in the Business Breakfast held last October 24 at W Fifth Building in BGC, Taguig. The event was hosted by the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines, in partnership with Kittelson & Carpo Consulting.

Senate President Vicente Sotto III, during the Senate hearing on Monday, July 27, stated that they will prioritize laws that seek to relieve Filipinos from the impacts of COVID-19 in the Philippines.

Greta Monica Trazo discussed the relevant details in the recently passed Expanded Maternity Leave Law in the event, “LABOR BRIEFING: The Present and Future of Work” hosted by the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines together with Kittelson & Carpo Consulting as one of the main partners, held on May 16 at the Makati Diamond Residences.
